Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data the Ghazwancom app (ID ghazwancom.pro) and our website ghazwancom.com collect, how we use and protect it, and how you can delete it.

Data we collect

• Account: phone number (verification & sign-in), name, governorate, and password (encrypted).
• Delivery addresses: address, details and delivery zone. Precise location (GPS coordinates) only if you grant permission and choose to pin your location — stored with the address to help delivery. No background location tracking.
• Orders: items, quantities, amounts and delivery fees, order status and history, your order notes, and any coupon you used.
• Store activity: favorites and cart, and the ratings/reviews you write (shown to other customers with your name).
• Notifications: the history of in-app notifications sent to you (e.g. order-status updates).
• Operational: push notification device token and platform, and preferred app language. Appearance settings (e.g. dark mode) stay on your device.

How we use it

• Account creation, sign-in and SMS (OTP) verification.
• Fulfilling and delivering orders, calculating delivery fees for your area, and contacting you about orders.
• Order-status notifications and offers (can be disabled in device settings).
• Showing favorites and reviews, governorate-specific info (e.g. the weather card on Home), improving the app and preventing abuse.

What we don't do

• We never sell your data or share it with advertisers; no advertising trackers.
• Location is used only if you choose to share it for your delivery address.
• No payment data stored — payment is cash on delivery.

Storage & security

Data is stored on secure servers (Supabase, EU — Frankfurt) with HTTPS encryption and strict Row Level Security so no user can access another user's data.

Third parties

• Delivery courier: your name, phone and address (and pinned location, if any) — only to deliver your order.
• SMS provider: your phone number — only to send verification codes.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): device token — only to deliver notifications.
• Google Fonts: the app downloads its interface fonts from Google servers — a technical font-file request only, no account data.
• Supabase: hosting and database provider.

Website

ghazwancom.com uses no cookies and no advertising tools. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregated, anonymous visit statistics (e.g. visit counts and page-load speed) — cookieless, with no tracking of your identity. The site also reads the store's public support contacts (email/WhatsApp) from our server to display them. Our host (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP addresses for security and operation only.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, personal data is removed and order records are kept anonymized (no name, phone or address) for accounting only.

Children

The app is intended for adults; we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
